"State Farm Consolidation Claims stated that my towing reimbursement should have been issued by the agent directly. It would have saved me as a customer time and aggravation. Towing claim was filed in December 2024. The check was issued and reissued three times because it was sent to the old address the first time. The second check never arrived at the correct address (Brooksville) and was sent back to State Farm. The third check was canceled for no reason. Who's responsible for all the running around? The agent! 😬🙄😠"
"Hi Tess, I'm really sorry to hear that there has been such an issue with the check being mailed directly to your address. I've tried reaching out several times to discuss this matter with you, but you have not returned my calls. Regarding the claim being handled in the office, there were several reasons why I did not handle writing the check myself and why it was in your best interest for it to be managed directly by claims. I apologize if, for some reason, claims made it seem like it should have been handled directly in the office. Here is the breakdown of why that did not happen. I also made Jay aware of this on the phone and through email when I started this process back in January. What was provided to my office was not a paid receipt; it was a picture of a bill. The bill also lacked certain information that I needed to verify and provide to SF claims in order to write a check from my office. The missing information included: The company name The insured's name Where the vehicle was towed The VIN number of the towed vehicle Proof that payment was received I emailed Jay after speaking with him to let him know that the bill was missing the information listed above. I mentioned that I could get it sent over to SF claims for review to see if they would require additional documentation. I also informed him of the possibility that claims might require that information to issue payment, so he may want to reach out to the tow company and ask them to provide a paid receipt with the missing details included. He emailed me back, confirming that he would reach out to them to try and obtain that information. I did manage to send this documentation over to claims to get the process started for you right away. Jay then emailed me 16 days later, after my office followed up, to let me know that what was originally provided was all the towing company was willing to furnish. I then relayed that information to claims. In order to write the check from my office, I would need to have the physical copy on hand prior to processing a reimbursement check, which I did not have. I am only authorized in my office to reimburse up to 10 miles for towing. Your bill indicated that the vehicle was towed 35 miles. It may also be in the insured's best interest for vehicles towed more than 10 miles to be submitted directly to claims, as they have the ability to reimburse for more than 10 miles in certain situations. We hadn’t had any issues in getting reimbursement checks to you directly from claims for the four previous towing claims, so I did not believe there would be any issue with handling this one the same way. Again, I’m terribly sorry for the issue with the mail not reaching your address and wish there were more I could have done to help."

"I have been and State Farm insure for over 3 years Ed Burke and his employees are nothing but puppets in my personal opinion for State Farm and can only read off what the computer tells them to read to the customers. I am currently being refused to be renewed because I have five towing claims, just towing, in the last three plus years and two windows being replaced in the last 3 plus years and two accidents in which I was the victim for. NO citations, NO tickets, and State farm's underwriting gods are refusing to renew me now, Ed Burke and his employees deserves the same rating as the Underwriters of State Farm."
"Hi Stephen, My team and I attempted to explain all of this to you yesterday over several phone calls, despite your profanity and yelling. As you stated above, you have filed 9 claims in the past 3 years, with 6 of them occurring last year. 9 claims in 3 years constitute a claim frequency issue. As you acknowledged on the phone, State Farm sent you 2 caution letters informing you that your claim frequency was far above average and that further claims could result in non-renewal of your auto policy. It is important to note that 4 additional claims were filed after that letter was received. State Farm kept their promise and provided coverage for the claims filed, and your policy was never surcharged due to those claims. However, due to your claim frequency, your policy is being non-renewed. As I explained several times yesterday, this decision does not originate from my office, and I do not have the ability to overturn it. "
